MiniMax

MiniMax is an AI company based in Shanghai. It says it was founded in early 2022 and describes its mission as co-creating intelligence with everyone. The company develops its own multimodal foundation models for text, audio, image, video and music. Its shares have been listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since January 2026.

The text models carry the MiniMax-M name; the current versions are MiniMax-M3 and MiniMax-M2.7. MiniMax H3 is the current video model, MiniMax Speech 2.8 generates speech and MiniMax Music 3.0 generates music.

MiniMax offers these models in its own products. Hailuo AI generates videos and images from text prompts and reference images with the MiniMax H3 model. MiniMax Audio turns text into lifelike speech and music, with more than 300 voices, over 40 languages and voice cloning. MiniMax Agent is the company's AI agent for multi-step tasks, and Talkie is a chat app for conversations with AI characters. Developers reach the same models through the MiniMax API platform.
