Topaz has basically become my clean up crew for both client photos and short social videos. I started with Gigapixel AI and Denoise AI about a year ago and moved into the newer Photo AI and Video AI suite over the last 4 months. The noise reduction and sharpening are genuinely on another level compared to what I get out of Lightroom and Premiere alone, especially for high ISO event shots and 1080p footage I need to deliver in 4K. Batch processing in Photo AI saves me a ton of time when exporting galleries, and Video AI’s upscaling plus stabilization has rescued a couple of handheld interview clips I thought were unusable. The downside is the pricing shift. The subscription for the full collection adds up quickly if you are a smaller studio, and the one year of updates on one time licenses feels a bit restrictive. Still, if image quality is critical and you bill for your time, it pretty much pays for itself.

Topaz Labs has become a regular part of my photo and video workflow over the last 6 months, mainly Photo AI and Video AI. The upscaling and noise reduction are genuinely impressive on old 1080p footage and high ISO RAW files, and the Autopilot style presets save me a lot of tweaking. Batch processing for event galleries can cut my editing time by at least 30 percent. The downside is the subscription shift and fairly heavy GPU requirements, so it is not exactly budget friendly or light on resources, but the image quality is hard to argue with.
